A significant part of his life, General Director of Vivad 09 Ltd., deputy of Zhytomyr Region Council Ihor Khodak devotes to charity, which he has started in 2006.

The entrepreneur came from an ordinary family with no great wealth. Later, having succeeded, having a status and certain achievements, the need to give appeared by itself: “God gives to me, and I have to give to people.”

He helps hospitals, schools and kindergartens, ATO soldiers and other citizens, he constantly allocates funds for roads repairs and construction.

In 2017 Ihor Khodak was honored with an award at the national charity competition “Charitable Ukraine-2017”. The company “Vivad 09” won the first place in the nomination “Philanthropist: Company – Medium-Sized Business”. The company’s shareholder received an award in the nomination “Civic Charity” and won the title “Angel of Good.”

At the same time, Ihor Khodak cares about forest.

During the 10^th anniversary action in the year of 2015 for the restoration of forests 70 thousand oak seedlings were planted on 12 hectares of land of the Zhytomyr Forestry Administration, for which the company “Vivad 09” allocated 70.000 UAH.

In 2018, Vivad 09 Ltd. organized another ecological campaign, during which 6.000 oaks were planted on 1 ha of the new forest in the Park Romaniv.

During 2019, 45 thousand seedlings were purchased for planting, and a campaign of cleaning the forest park area, roadside from waste took place. As a result of the campaign, more than 110 tons of garbage were taken out.

Ihor is one of the philanthropists of the All-Ukrainian gathering of pupils’ forestries of general education and extracurricular educational institutions. “Everything that is done is a tribute to the fellow countrymen, without whom such an entrepreneur as Khodak would not have appeared,” he notes.
