Ihor Khodak

(born on December 28, 1970, Vrublivka village Dzerzhynskyi district (now – Romaniv district), Zhytomyr region) is a Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist, from 2015 – a member of the Zhytomyr Regional Rada.

Biography, activity

Was born on December 28, 1970 in Vrublivka village Dzerzhynskyi district (now – Romaniv district) Zhytomyr region.
Graduated from Vrublivka secondary school.
From 1989 till 1991 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.
In 1993 he graduated from Mykolaiiv maritime school.
From 1993 till 1996 he worked in the Black Sea navigation on foreign going vessels.
Since 1996 after returning to hisMotherland he is a private entrepreneur in wood processing business.
In 2009 he founded the wood processing company Vivad 09 Ltd.
From 2015 he is a deputy of the 7th Zhytomyr Regional Rada. He is a member of the Standing Committee on Ecology, Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

Entrepreneurial activity

He started his entrepreneurial activity in 1996.

In 2009 he founded the wood processing enterprise Vivad 09 Ltd. with more than 700 employees. The company’s products are exported to over 20 countries.

Vivad 09 Ltd. is one of the three most powerful wood processing enterprises in Ukraine, specializing in the manufacture of parquet, lamellas and fuel briquettes. The production is certified and is non-waste.

Family

Married with Oksana Khodak, has one daughter – Olena Khodak, student of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Patronage activities

Provides material assistance to soldiers of ATO ( anti-terrorism operation), educational institutions, local communities, as well as to citizens.
