BEGINNING OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY: “I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO STAND ASIDE AND TO INFLUENCE THE FINANCIAL POLICY IN THE REGION”

The main activity is business. It was thanks to the development of a powerful enterprise that I managed to succeed and gain credibility. However, nowadays the most important is the statement of ancient Greek statesman Pericles: “If you are not interested in politics, this does not mean that politics is not interested in you.” It is not surprising then, that authoritative figures, successful businessmen, and opinion leaders can not ignore the processes taking place in the state and go to politics to contribute to the process of development of Ukraine.

Ihor Khodak says: “Previously, I was far from politics. Why die I go to the regional council after all? Our company, like a number of other companies, pays high taxes. However, these funds are often used not for purpose, not for the benefit of the community. Besides, I often face the fact that dubious decisions are made in government offices, fundamentally wrong or unfair. Therefore, I decided not to stand aside and to influence the financial policy in the region.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in some processes of the existing system. If it is possible I try to change the situation for the better, but this level is not enough, so my goal is the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.”
