Ihor Khodak met with voters and visited a school in Zhytomyr region

On Tuesday, July 9, during working trips to Zhytomyr region Ihor Khodak visited the start-ups in Kodan and Gajzink.

The candidate for people’s deputies at the electoral district # 67 Ihor Khodak held a series of meetings in Zhytomyr district on July 9. In addition to communicating with the community, the politician visited schools in Koda and Gajzink and found out what problems disturb educators in the area.

In particular, the reconstruction of the Kodnan secondary school of I-III degrees stopped. Despite the fact that the funds were transferred from the State Fund for Regional Development for repair, the rayon administration does not currently allocate assets to the school, so no work is carried out.

People are outraged by the actions of the authorities, since neither the appeal to the acting deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine who ran in this district nor the numerous meetings in the regional state administration give no results.

As active deputy of Zhytomyr Regional Council and candidate for people’s deputies Ihor Khodak promised to address this issue and make every effort to solve the problem, as well as to help with equipment for the class for beginner students.

It should be noted that in 2018, with the financial support of Ihor Khodak, the floor was restored in the dining room and the entry group steps in this educational establishment.

As for the Gajin secondary school of I-II degrees, now there are finishing work with the help of the pedagogical team. This is not the first visit of Ihor Khodak to this school – at the beginning of the year he gave the educational institution a notebook computer class. At the same time the patron promised to help with the repair of the floor of the entrance school group.

“I’m not tired of repeating that it is the children, the youth is the future of the nation. Therefore, for the first year I am constantly providing assistance to the primary institutions of the region. Currently, the education sector is actively reformed, however, in rural areas, sometimes there is not enough funds for elementary – repair and creation of comfortable conditions for training. I am aware that, as of today, we are not in a position to solve the problems of all schools at one and the same time, but we must remember that the “tomorrow” of the whole country depends on the present of our children, “commented Ihor Khodak.
